Our Story
Our story begins in 1980 when Jesús M. Pérez and his family founded La Casita Blanca on Tapia Street, in Villa Palmeras, Santurce. Located in a traditional and picturesque house from the 1920s, La Casita Blanca is a hidden gem offering traditional Puerto Rican cuisine that takes you back to the flavors of our grandmothers.
The success of La Casita Blanca allowed the family to expand the tradition of great Puerto Rican food in 2010 by opening the restaurant Casita Miramar in the former Hotel Toro in Miramar.
In both locations, we offer excellent service, welcoming our customers with delicious bacalaítos and plantain soup and sending them off with our famous chichaito, accompanied by coffee beans, a symbol of Health, Money, and Love.
